time difference is
i've been living 4 days into daylight savings time.
i have no freaking idea how this spring forward, fall back concept of time works.
anyways, that means i get to sleep in 1hour more than last week.
sweet.
the other day i sent off my friends to the train station a full hour earlier than i was supposed to.
since winter gets less daylight, shouldn't the day end 1hour earlier rather than later?
so confusing. *shrugs*

bik: yeah! i think he's quite excited to come to oz... too bad he'll be disappointed by the boring suburb we live in. haha!
fat fingers: can check the time on the news channel on tv! :) but it's very confusing if you forget to reset your watch and you see shops starting to close an hour earlier/later.
maoie: i STILL don't get it. just going by what everyone else is doing, i guess. @_@
elmo: free office lunch???! wah... happening! and i thought your taste in music was going down the drain. *phew!* :D
whoops, my comment got posted afterall! thought it wasn't working...
i got confused about your daylight savings for a while - see, today marks the spring forward change of clocks here. cos we're in different hemispheres and thus different seasons.
and i used to have that question too about winter time - i think the reason for it is cos in the olden days (or maybe even now), farmers need the daylight to work in their fields. that's why it's more important for it to be bright early in the morning than in the evening.
elmo: i know. but then in summer, since the day lasts longer, it should also be 1 hour later than in winder, when the day is shorter, right? makes sense? no? haha. neither does it to me. :P
