Since quitting full-time work, I've found myself cooking more meals at home for my family. It's a nice process on retrospect; in the midst of doing, though, the nice dreaminess behind making often gets lost in the repetitive chopping, stirring, bursts of steam from under the lid. So it was good to read this entry by my daily toast, a reminder of the love that goes into the most humble of dishes served up: soup.
